Tumblegum South Gold Project

The Tumblegum South Gold Project is located 40km south, southeast of Meekatharra and 1km west of the Meekatharra-Sandstone Rd, approximately 3km to the east of the ‘Star of the East’ historical mine and 1km south of the old Gabanintha Gold Mine.  

Mining has commenced under a Right to Mine Agreement with MEGA Resources.

The Tumblegum South Gold Project consists of a granted Mining Lease M51/888 and hosts a gold Mineral Resource of 616,000 tonnes @ 2.28g/t Au for a total of 45,000 ounces of contained gold and includes an Indicated Mineral Resource of 337,000 tonnes @ 2.52 g/t Au for 27,000 oz gold.

Recent down hole drilling results from the project include:

  • 5m @ 30.91 g/t Au from 21m including
    2m @ 75.45 g/t Au from 21m
  • 5m @ 10.85 g/t Au from 5m including
    2m @ 25.65 g/t Au from 6m
  • 8m @ 6.96 g/t Au from 17m including
    2m @ 20.05 g/t Au from 17m

Material mined at the Tumblegum South Gold Project will be processed under a toll treatment agreement with Catalyst Metals (ASX: CYL) at its Plutonic Plant.
